# Carrier Service Configuration

For Gopuff's Instant Delivery rates to appear on your checkout, you'll need to ensure that the carrier service is configured correctly.

1. From the app main screen, click **Shipping Settings** or you can manually navigate by going to **Settings → Shipping and delivery**.

2. Under **Shipping → General shipping rates** click **General**. This should open your **General profile** and for most stores, this is your only shipping profile.

3. Under **Shipping zones** you will likely have one or more rates listed under **Your rates**. We recommend clicking on each one and clicking **Edit rate** to check the name and description of the rates. If the rates are just generically named (e.g. "Standard") with no description, you should edit or remake the rates to specify the shipping speed (e.g. "3-5 Business Days"). This will be important to help differentiate Gopuff 30-60 minute delivery vs. multiple business days.

4. Lastly, ensure that the **Powered by Gopuff** carrier rate was automatically added to your shipping zone during the app installation. Click on **Carrier and app rates** and it should be listed there.

5. If the carrier rate is missing, you can easily add it. Just click **Add rate** and then select **Use carrier or app to calculate rates** from the first drop down, and **Powered By Gopuff** in the second dropdown, then click **Done**.

  > Do not add handling fees (percentage or flat amount) when adding the rate. The rates are pre-negotiated and determined by your partnership agreement with Gopuff. If you want to change the Gopuff rates displayed to your customers, contact your Gopuff rep.
